INSIDE U.S. TRADE: Steel group cites Turkey decision in Section 232 challenge at CIT

The American Institute for International Steel is citing President Trump's decision to double Section 232 tariffs on Turkish imports as another reason the statute should be modified. The group is pushing the Court of International Trade to issue a declaration that the law relied on by Trump to impose a 25 percent tariff on imported steel is unconstitutional, as well as a court order preventing further enforcement of the steel tariff increase.
